Harbor Offshore Barriers owns the exclusive license to the anti-terrorist barrier design technology developed by the U.S. Navy. It is the most thoroughly engineered and tested system in the world.

With the approval and cooperation of the U.S. Navy, we have adapted the barrier systems for commercial and naval use. When comparing our barrier systems to others you will notice that our barriers are much heavier and more durable, because of our design, materials and quality of construction. They are designed for continuous exposure to a salt water environment. We use steel in the ocean because of its strength. Our above water structural steel components are designed for secondary boat impacts. Our components having continuous exposure to salt water require very low maintenance.
